AKA To Make First Stage Appearance Since The Death Of His Fiancée: It’s been one month since the death of Nelli Tembe, who was known to all as AKA‘s fiancée. The 22-year-old had fell to her death on the 11th of April, 2021, at the Pepperclub Hotel in Cape Town.
The news of her that came as a shock to South Africans, as many tried to decipher how a vibrant young girl, with a promising life ahead of her could have been suicidal. A lot of speculations few around concerning her sudden death, with some fans pointing accusing fingers at AKA.
The rapper was deeply affected by his fiancee’s death, such that he has not made any public appearance since its occurrence. But since Nelli has been mourned and buried, its time for him to finally pick up himself.
Recently, it was announced that AKA is part of the lineup for the Huawei Joburg Day which comes up on 28 May. Other artistes who made the lineup include J’Something, Mi Casa and DJ Zinhle, AKA’s ex. It cannot be determined if AKA was included before the tragedy or after it. But the possibility of him making his first performance appearance after Nellie’s passing has excited fans.
