AKA Plans Concert To Help Alleviate Student Debt
AKA Plans Concert To Help Alleviate Student Debt: Supa Mega a few weeks ago announced a Fee must Fall concert to help SA graduates settle their student debt. This was borne out of observation by the artiste during the KFC engagement hype where brands and organizations offered to help the lovers with their wedding arrangements.
The rapper seeks to raise R10 million to R15million to help students offset their debt and he is getting a lot of support from fans. Amidst rumors that the concert is politically sponsored, the artiste came out to clear the air and maintained that the concert has no political affiliation.
The concert will take place on the 15th of February 2020 and the venue is the Dome in Johannesburg. The rapper hopes the concert will be a new alternative to the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS). NSFAS is a South African government student bursary and loan scheme which provides loans for undergraduate students to help pay for the cost of their tertiary education.
