GBV Group SA Calls For AKA’s Music To Be Taken Down
GBV Group SA Calls For AKA’s Music To Be Taken Down: The organization in charge of Gender Based Violence South Africa, calls for AKA‘s music to be taken down from streaming platforms, radio stations, TV channels and other platforms.
This is due to the drama following the super star’s late fiancee and the videos that suggests that he had been abusing her before her death. Though nothing has been proven yet, South Africans have been waging a war against AKA since those videos went viral.
The GBV group created a hashtag #MuteAKA to promote their agenda. Taking to their page on Instagram they said “We are demanding all Radio Stations, TV stations, @spotifysa, @youtubemusic, @applemusic, and @cruzvodka to MUTE AKA with immediate effect! Mute AKA music on your #Spotify #AppleMusic #YoutubeMusic Account or other streaming platforms. It is overdue to show South Africa once and for all that women matter! We want justice for Nellie!”
Despite the accusations, the Supa Mega released a statement saying that he’s not a suspect to the death case, but a witness.
