Nasty C And Former Record Label Slammed With R4.5 Million in Damages: Multi award-winning artiste, Nasty C, and Former record label, Mabala Noise been ordered to pay R4.5-million in damages to Freeworld Music for breach of contract and unpaid services.

The ex-management of the artiste is also seeking to seize his stage name as he has been served with a cease and desist letter to stop using his stage name as he does not have naming rights.

The drama between the artiste and his former label has been going on since 2018 since the application by Freeworld. Freeworld Music claims that it was mysteriously dropped by the rapper and his record label Mabala Noise after it was appointed by Nkabinde as Nasty C’s manager in July 2016.

It has been revealed that the default judgment was given against the artist and the former record label because they did not defend themselves against the application by Freeworld Music.
