‘One Night With Sjava’ Concert Records Huge Success
‘One Night With Sjava’ Concert Records Huge Success: The live show by South African hip-hop artiste, Sjava, is one that has left South Africans in their feel.
The event which took place last night at the Pretoria’s Sun Arena recorded a huge success even as the show was sold out.
Opening the event was Sjava’s mother who was clad in her traditional Zulu regalia and then went on to perform his 2018 track “Ugogo”. The artiste paid homeage to his mother and grandmother and also to South-African women who are victims of gender-based violence.
There has been several commendations from South Africans describing the show as an authentic display of the Zulu culture. Sjava performed several fan favorites including “Umqhele” and “Egoli“, a track he did with Mlindo The Vocalist where he talks about going to the “City of Gold” and making enough money to look after his mother.
Other artistes like Cassper Nyovest have also gone ahead to congratulate him on the success of the show.
