Ycee cautions AKA as Regards To The 2019 Xenophobia: The Nigerian rapper, singer and songwriter Oludemilade Martin Alejo, professionally known as Ycee, has cautions Aka on twitter with regards to the 2019 Xenophobia he did not accuse Kiernan Jarryd Forbes of any taking part in the xenophobic attacks but with the use of good words and dictioncee gave instances of comments that could have fueled the on going Xenophobia during the last Nation’s Cup by AKA, in his tweet he said;
I don’t rate South African men at this point … and I’m not trying to create any form of
animosity between us and them (that they don’t already feel against us)
It is really sad that In 2019 Xenophobia is what we are still facing and discussing as a problem;
He started his mini-rant on Twitter by tweeting that he no longer rates South African men. He tweeted
“I don’t rate South African men at this point … and I’m not trying to create any form of animosity between us and them (that they don’t already feel against us). It is really sad that In 2019 Xenophobia is what we are still facing and discussing as a problem.”He then went on to say that almost all, if not all South Africans have a subtle dislike for Nigerians that they
try hard to hide it but sometimes fail. It was at this point that he cited AKA as one of those types of South Africans. He tweeted, “There is this subtle dislike that a lot of them (If not all) feel towards Nigerians and no matter how hard they try to hide it .. it eventually jumps out – like when AKA had a full childish grown man tantrum when they lost to Nigeria in the nations cup”.
He concluded by saying that foreigners never feel unsafe in Nigeria because they are treated better
“Worst part of this thing is South Africans (or any other foreign nationals) will never feel unsafe in Nigeria.We even treat foreigners better than we treat ourselves, which I believe needs to change. The rest of the world doesn’t respect us Cos we don’t respect ourselves”.
